Common Questions
Do I need working experience in a healthcare environment?
No. Appletree is ideal for those with healthcare education who have a passion for learning and development. Our experienced trainers and managers will prepare you to work in a medical clinic environment.
What type of education do I need?
It depends on the position you are applying for. Please refer to the minimum qualifications that can be found in our job postings.
What does the hiring process look like?
Our process for hiring is rigorous. Our objective is to ensure that you are the right fit for us, just as we are for you. We promote fairness, equity, and diversity, as such, you will meet and speak to various people on our hiring team throughout the process. The screening stage begins with your application questions, a basic communications assessment, and finally a phone interview. Successful applicants moving onto the selection stage will be invited to an in-person interview where more information about the position is given to the candidate. At that point you will have the opportunity to ask questions and make an informed decision on whether you should join us.
What career paths are available for an entry-level staff?
Many of our entry-level staff will determine their direction in life during their time with us. If they find a match within the organization, they have the opportunity to participate in our Leadership Development Program, which sets them up for pursuit of the Operations Manager role. After which, they have the opportunity to move up to the regional management level or enter other departments such as: Administrative Services, Medical Affairs, Business Development, Finance, Human Resources or even Healthcare IT.
